Activating & Monitoring Flows

Once you've built your flow, you need to activate it to start processing conversations. Chatofy provides monitoring tools to track flow performance and debug issues.

Activating a Flow

  1. Open the flow you want to activate
  2. Click the "Activate" toggle in the flow header
  3. Confirm activation in the dialog
  4. The flow status changes to Active

How activation works

When a flow is active, incoming messages are evaluated against the flow's trigger conditions. If matched, the flow engine starts executing. The flow will continue step by step, waiting for customer input where configured.

Pausing a Flow

To pause a flow, toggle the switch to Inactive. Existing active conversations will complete their current flow run, but no new conversations will trigger the flow.

Monitoring Flow Execution

The Runs page for each flow shows:

  • Last 50 flow executions
  • Status of each run (completed, failed, running)
  • Messages exchanged during the flow
  • Error messages for failed executions
  • Timestamps and duration

Scheduled Flow Execution

Flows can also be triggered on a schedule using the CRON-based scheduler. This is useful for sending automated broadcasts based on time, like appointment reminders or birthday messages.
