Flow Execution Logs

Every time a flow is triggered, Chatofy records an execution log. These logs help you understand how your flows are performing and debug any issues that arise.

Accessing Execution Logs

  1. Navigate to Flows from the sidebar
  2. Click on the flow you want to inspect
  3. Click the "Runs" tab or button
  4. Browse the list of recent executions

What Each Log Entry Shows

  • Status — Completed, Failed, or Running
  • Contact — The customer who triggered the flow
  • Started At — When the flow execution began
  • Duration — How long the execution took
  • Nodes Executed — Which nodes were visited
  • Error Message — Details if the flow failed

Common Errors & Solutions

Template Not Approved

If your flow tries to send a template that hasn't been approved by Meta, the message will fail. Always use approved templates in your flows.

Variable Not Set

If a node references a variable that hasn't been set yet (e.g., from a Collect Input node), the flow will fall back to an empty string or fail. Ensure variables are properly initialized.

API Call Failed

HTTP Request nodes may fail if the external endpoint is unreachable or returns an error. Check the error log for the HTTP status code and response body.

Retention

Flow execution logs are retained for the last 50 runs per flow. For long-term history, consider using the HTTP Request node to log executions to your own system.
