Managing Phone Numbers & Coexistence Mode

Chatofy supports Coexistence Mode, which allows you to route specific phone numbers through Chatofy while other numbers remain on the native WhatsApp Business App. This gives you flexibility during migration and hybrid workflows.

Understanding Coexistence Mode

When you connect a WABA, Meta gives you the option to choose which phone numbers are managed by Chatofy. Numbers not routed to Chatofy continue to work normally on the WhatsApp Business App or other third-party tools.

Managing Phone Numbers

In Settings → WhatsApp, you can:

• View all phone numbers registered under your WABA
• See each number's quality rating (Green, Yellow, Red)
• Check the current status (Connected, Pending, Disconnected)
• Remove a phone number from Chatofy management

Phone Number Quality

Meta assigns a quality rating to each phone number based on user feedback, block rates, and message quality:

• Green — Good standing. No action needed.
• Yellow — At risk. Review your messaging practices.
• Red — Restricted. Messages may be blocked.

Best Practices

• Maintain high-quality conversations to keep your phone number in Green status
• Use opt-in confirmation before sending marketing messages
• Monitor quality ratings regularly in the WhatsApp settings
• Register toll-free numbers if available in your region for higher throughput
